WRITING ABOUT NEW YORK!

GROUP 1 (Bongiorno, Marchetti, D'Eramo)

The one world trade center, also officially known as the freedom tower, is the sixth tallest skyscraper in the world. It is the principal building of the new world trade center in New York, in Lower Manhattan, on the site of the previous twin towers, destroyed in the attacks of September 11, 2001. The height of the building is 1776 feet. This number represents the year of the US Declaration of Independence.

GROUP 2 (Rafan, Cruciani, Bobeica)

Times Square is one of the major intersections in New York. The square has achieved the status of a landscape icon and has become a symbol of New York. Times Square is best known for its large and numerous, animated and digital billboards.

GROUP 3 (Cinalli, Mancino, Ceccacci, D'Andrea)

The Empire State Building, designed by Shreve, Lamb and Harmon, was completed in 1931. The building has a roof height of 1250 feet (380 metres) and stands a total of 1454 feet (443 metres) tall, including its antenna.
